First off - Jose did a really good job! As the proud owner of an original Jose Fauth hanging on my fridge at home, I can say first-hand that his style has most certainly evolved since November!

The only thing I'm curious about is... what's the NEXT level? Bear vs. Darth Vader at Pentacost? Tongues of fire? Or... light sabers over their heads? ;-)

Haha. I am going to print a copy of this. I love it.

"Not me Mama, I drawed a Darth Maul." - winner for March 8, 2010 quote of the day.

lol - this was so funny I had to share it w my coworkers- one thinks Bear is on to some deep literary concepts - perhaps he's too smart to be bothered with coloring :)

[quote from my coworker]
"What do you expect?

I watched an interview with Liam Neeson, aka Qui-Gon Jinn, where the interview had paralleled all of the main Phantom Menace characters with bible references.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_wars_1

There are many Christian and Biblical references in the film, such as the appearance of Darth Maul, whose design draws heavily from traditional depictions of the Christian Devil, complete with red skin and horns.[104] The Star Wars film cycle features a similar religious narrative involving Anakin Skywalker, a "chosen one" conceived of a virgin birth, who is tempted to join the Sith. This action seemingly prevents him from fulfilling his duty as the "chosen one"—the individual prophesied to destroy the Sith. The inspiration behind the story of the "virgin birth" parallels a concept developed by Joseph Campbell and his work on The Hero with a Thousand Faces, the same work that heavily influenced Lucas in his writing of the original Star Wars trilogy."

You are NOT alone. :) This could be our Sunday drawing display. Very funny, Kim. I had Josh (our five year old) write his name in thank you cards for his birthday guests but he HAD to draw a picture in each one. He drew space ships shooting other ships or people shooting eachother. All Star Wars related. My boys will color if they have to but they love to draw Star Wars and in great detail.
I LOVE that Jesus has glasses, very nice. :)
