		<description>Certainly glad the boys are here in the U.S. safe and things were relatively &quot;ok&quot; in E.S. and Guatemala.  That could have been quite the story I suppose if you had been there while it happened... although let&#039;s pray you don&#039;t have such a story to bring home with you though.  :-)

We passed the island of Hispanola today (on the D.R. side), it really made me think of how much suffering is going on there, and to be honest, a bit guilty for being on a *cruise ship*.  While God has really blessed me, the struggle of those in Haiti and other struggling, impoverished, or 3rd world countries so close to our own home has really been on my mind this week.  It&#039;s so easy to forget how much help is needed so close to our own home - it seems like it sadly takes a tragedy like the one in Haiti to get only a limited amount of our attention...</description>
