And now for something completely different – Delta Faucet Publicity Event, Indianapolis
Posted by KimAug 10
So lest I seem too predictable in my blog post trends, I’ve taken a turn for the bizarre. Flew out this morning to Indianapolis for a blogger event with Delta Faucet Company/Brizo Faucet to tour their headquarters, learn about the brands… and…
’cause you think I’m craay…
… stay alone (yes, all by myself – no kids!) in a fancy Marriott Renaissance Hotel…
Did I mention “no kids?”
Here’s my room:
Ah, yes.
And it happens to be my birthday tomorrow, coincidentally. So I ask you (especially you other moms of young children!) – Who among you would not opt for the free (Delta paid for everything!) getaway for 2 days if all it cost you was a couple of blog posts?! This mamacita thinks it’s more than a fair trade.
For any of you that actually are interested in Delta Faucet and their products, I’ll be posting on One Project Closer, since that’s who they were inviting (not American Mamacita, as it turns out). But I hope the rest of you can understand the secret other motivation for being here.
‘Course if you don’t, I’m not leaving anyway. Not till my flight out on Thursday, anyway. So there.

Faucets huh? Fine with me, if they wanted to give me a nice little trip and tour with a night in a hotel, I would be there SO FAST!!!!!
Anyway, I know this will sound strange but there are some really cool new faucets out there that I would enjoy checking out. Weird. Yes.

I’m so glad you left me this bread crumb trail to your blog! I only knew about you from OPC and now I can read more from you here. Yeah! I would be totally into a weekend alone at the Marriott…and talking about faucets would be so great too. I love all things home.
Happy belated birthday. Lisa~

@essie – the faucet tour was actually pretty interesting (unfortunately I now crave the latest (read “expensive”) technology
@Lisa P – yup, I’m in two places… thank YOU for keeping things simpler than that!
@ Lisa-the-sister-in-law – welcome back from the beach!
